75-percent Primary work on application software development and sustainment of legacy software. This includes S/W requirements analysis, design, code and unit testing, integration, and verification. Successful applicant must have strong
C/C++ and
Object Oriented Analysis and Design development experience in the
UNIX environment. Experience with a wide range of
software development tools such as
ClearCase,
DDTS,
Purify,
Understand for C/C++, and
Rational Rose [
*] experience is desired. Strong
socket programming experience and experience with
multi-threaded applications is desired. A strong
mathematical background and familiarity with
IR sensors and
simulation tools is a plus.
Ground systems experience in
mission processing,
ground communications or
space operations a plus. 25-percent
Product and process documentation. Customer and technical interface capabilities helpful in providing support for meetings. Knowledge of all
phases of software development and
software processes is required. As a level-2 engineer, candidate will also be expected to support the program in the following areas as necessary: provide support to team leads, integration team and other
software engineers; assist with CAM and scheduling activities; and interface with government/contractor customers. 10-20% travel may be expected in FY07-08 to Azusa, CA for integration and verification testing.
DOD Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain
TS/SCI clearance. Security Clearance Required.
